Etched copper cuff depicting the flower of life and a peony
The peony is considered to be the flower of riches and honor or the king of flowers. An ancient superstition says not to be seen by a woodpecker whilst picking its fruit, or the bird will peck ones eyes out. In the language of flowers it is said that mischievous nymphs would hide in the petals, giving it the meaning of shame or bashfulness. All I know is it sure is beautiful.
The flower of life is said to contain ancient religious value depicting the fundamental forms of space and time. making it a visual expression of the connections life weaves through all sentient beings, believed to contain a record of basic information of all living things.
